This unit features a 6 3/4" type 304 stainless steel needle probe that allows you to accurately measure both food temperature and ambient oven temperature at the same time. It measures temperatures between 32 and 572 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure optimal performance in and around the oven, the 39" high-heat sensor cable can withstand temperatures up to 716 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 hours.
