The Compost Keeper is a one gallon attractive shiny finish stainless steel with a soft grip-ez sturdy handle. It looks good on a kitchen counter top. Store peelings, egg shells, coffee grounds, table scraps, clippings and other vegetables. Later transfer to your garden composter. The composter works best as a temporary holder for these items.
Wash compost keeper with warm soapy water, rinse and dry.
Change the filter approximately every 6 months, depending on use.
The filter should not be washed and reused. The charcoal in the filter absorbs the odors and once it has fully absorbed to its maximum, discard filter.
