The lychee puree from Les vergers Boiron is made from a blend of raw materials sourced from Asia and Africa. In Taiwan, the Black Leaf variety is grown in large plantations. In Madagascar, the Mauritus variety is hand-harvested from wild trees (which are untreated) that can be over 100 years old and are still producing!
The lychee puree has a rich aromatic profile, expressed through rose notes, particularly from the Black Leaf variety. It also features muscat notes in a delicately sweet overall flavor.
