Boiron Frozen Mandarin Puree 1kg

The Mandarin is one of the oldest citrus fruits, originating from Asia. Les vergers Boiron selects two Sicilian varieties : Tardivo di Ciaculli and Avana. Mandarin trees prefer well-drained soil and a mild climate, and they are cultivated on terraces at the foot of the hills. The fruits are harvested in winter. Les Vergers Boiron performs a finely calibrated extraction to obtain a softer juice, with fewer essential oils and therefore less bitterness.

The selection of fruits harvested at full maturity, along with the care taken during pressing, results in a juice with a good balance between sweet, sour, and bitter flavors. The essential oils present in the peel and flesh of the fruit contribute zesty notes.
