Tamales and Pozole Made the Traditional Mexican Way
Around the Holidays Everybody Gathers at Grandma’s House to Plan Christmas Dinner. We Harvest the corn, carefully select the leaves and soak them, we cook and grind the corn to make masa. Some of the women will cook the chicken, and the sauce, some will cook vegetables and green salsa for vegetarian tamales, some others will butcher a pig they have been raising all year long to make carne con chile and Pozole, while sharing family recipes and enjoying all the flavors of the food that is being prepared to stuff the tamales with.
